Ataru Nakamura

I just found a song that I very like and I wanna share it to you all. Hear the song first then check out my description below. You can just hear the song and follow the english translation without looking at the video.

A poem to a friend (友達の詩)

i can see before it happends
this trival love
has come along.. right?

a heartache that doesn’t heal
its only hidden by other scars..
it is discovered easy
It flows from somewhere*

It is ok if I just hold your hand
It is ok if we just walk together
Because even that is dangerous
Its ok if that precious one is just a friend

If I didn’t get close to you, could we be together?
if I was conscious
after such a long time
I’ve realized it is impossible

you laugh at me
but i cannot hate you
I blame myself
Always ashamed

It is ok if I just hold your hand
It is ok if we just walk together
Because even that is dangerous
Its ok if I just can look at my precious one

when you forget , and we meet again
I hope we could be like this

cause its ok if we are just friends

Ataru Nakamura(中村中) who is born with Gender identity disorder, and people will call those these people transsexual. Ataru Nakamura did not realize his gender till he was a teenager. After he realized his true gender as a female, she fell in love with one of her classmates. But the classmate that she loved made fun of her since she is not normal, and all of her classmates begin to knew he acts and thinks like a female, so they all teased her. As a result, she can not make any friends in school or in her life. So she puts all her attention into music since she has a unbelievable good sense on music. At the age of 15 she wrote this song to describes how sad that is after she tells the person she loved that she loves him, then they cannot be friend anymore. Disregard Ataru Nakamura’s gender problem, no doubt her music is extremely good and her voice too.

  1. what do you mean by disregard her gender disorder? You make it sound like that’s an handicap…

  2. I agree with the comment above. There is nothing to disregard. Ataru Nakamura is a beautiful example of all that is strong and pure in this world.

  3. Guys, I’m pretty sure that it was lost in translation–the original author probably meant “disregard” as in, “it does not make her any less female” kind of disregard.

But I completely agree, Ataru is wonderful. She pulled through the crap, and busted her move on the world.

    hell to her gender
she’s just awesome for her own self
I respect her as much as I love her…
and I bow for her courage and stength..
my best wishes for you Nakamura… ^_^
